 Rumor: Mandy Returning to Pop?Posted by: Kevin I don't normally turn to gossip sites for news, but Celebrity-Gossip had some interesting words regarding Mandy's career. The word they use is "retooling" in reference to her halted career, which I tend to agree with at this point.Every since her guest spot on How I Met Your Mother and the barrage of movies in 2007 as well as her recently released album, Mandy hasn't had much going on since then. There have been no newly released movie or TV projects, which means any appearance on the small and big screen likely won't occur until late 2008 at the earliest. As for her music career, there has been some speculation over a new album that Mandy is rumored to be working on. However, if she is working on one, it won't be under The Firm the music label responsible for Wild Hope. The two broke their ties in a story that may be related to what Celebrity Gossip states as Mandy being "ready to return to her pop roots." The first step to the transition is to find a new label, news that should be publicized once Mandy secures a contract. We'll also keep our fingers crossed about any new movie projects Mandy has in the works. In the meanwhile, enjoy the pictures.

Mandy Mentioned in C Magazine Posted by: Kevin C Magazine briefly mentioned Mandy in one of the pages of its April issue. Ed has scanned us a copy of the page showing Mandy in a pose with One Tree Hill's Sophia Bush.As for the gallery... despite my efforts to prevent my gallery from being hacked, someone still managed to tamper with it. The original theme I had setup is now gone (although that was mostly my fault), so I am using a temporary theme for the time being. Everything else in the gallery should be working as it normally does.

The rumored date is March 3, but I am not 100% sure of that date. Mandy Makes 2 Kids A Star For A Night Posted by: Kevin Mandy Moore participated in an event hosted by "Star for the Night Foundation," a non-profit organization that provides life-changing events for sick and disabled children. Mandy changed the lives of two girls by answering question from the girls on the Nationwide Radio Show, which is also run by the "Star for the Night Foundation." Afterwards, Mandy let the girls sit in her VIP booth along with their families and they enjoyed the VIP treatment as they watched Mandy perform her concert. Below is a video that was posted on youTube of the event.

 Southland Tales DVD AnnouncedPosted by: Kevin Moviehole.net has announced some information about the upcoming Southland Tales DVD, which is scheduled to be released on March 18, 2008. The DVD will reportedly including a making-of Southland Tales feature and an animated short story along with commentary from the producers, although the features have not been offically confirmed. The DVD will have an initial asking price of $24.96. There is no word on whether it will be released in HD-DVD or Blu-Ray. It would sure look good in those formats.

Based on the reviews, it looks like Romance & Cigarettes opened today in Salt Lake City and in Pittsburgh. 2007 Poll Results: Mandy's Best Traits Posted by: Kevin It was pretty much the poll of 2007 for the Mandy Moore Effect because it lasted so long. Just look at the colors. One of the reasons was the huge response to this poll. Here's how fans responded to the question: What do you like best about Mandy Moore?
 While it seems Mandy Moore gets hotter with age, her personality led most of the way with over half the votes. That could have something to do with staying out of trouble and her belief that she was the odd girl out in the blond pop singer explosion of the late 90s, which she stated during her hour-long visit with Tyra Banks in late November. I will be releasing that interview over the next couple of days courtesy of Ed.

Despite the short interview, Mandy did acknowledge why she insisted on having more power over her album: "I think most people at this point were sort of unaware that I was still singing...that kind of allieviated a lot of the pressure and I knew because of that I wasn't going to compromise and I really was gonna make the record I wanted to make."
